Founded in 1990, the members of Five By Design embrace the American popular song with a warm, well-rounded vocal blend.
The quintet is the creative talent behind the musical theatre retrospective as producers of Radio Days, Club Swing, Stay Tuned, and A Winter's Evening.
Combining their signature harmonies with vintage fashions, stage and lighting design with a captivating storyline, Five By Design has been bringing quality family entertainment to audiences throughout the country.
As international touring artists, Five By Design's touring schedule includes appearances with symphony orchestras and big bands including appearances with venues from Turkey to Canada and coast-to-coast throughout the United States.
The Minneapolis-based Five By Design includes Lorie Carpenter-Niska, Sheridan Zuther, Kurt Niska, Michael Swedberg, and Terrence Niska.
The Washington Post heralded Five By Design's Kennedy Center debut with the National Symphony as "one of the best pops programs of the season."
