Creativity is the cornerstone of Cottage Road Casual Home Furnishings, opened by designer, Debra Smith in the fall of 2004. Her background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with specialization in both painting and sculpture, as well as, post graduate studies in design with one of New York City’s premier design schools. She has spent over twenty-five years in all aspects of the interior design and furniture industries in both Maine and New York, with experience in both commercial and residential design and furnishings. The retail store focuses on casual lifestyle furnishings, while offering all furniture styles from traditional to contemporary, casual to formal, all with a warm and thoughtful approach.
