Amy Hawkes
Manchester Designs
Amy Manchester Hawkes received her BA in Art History from Pine Manor College in 1987. After working as a design assistant to Lisa Vandenburgh in Boston and Howard Slatkin in New York City, she ventured out on her own in 1993. In addition to full service interior design, she also creates decorative accessories for the home, custom window treatments and soft furnishings for her own clients as well as other designers. In 2003, Amy designed the Master Bedroom in the West Mansion for the PSO Show House that was published in Better Homes and Gardens “Beautiful Bedrooms”. Her room from the Portland Symphony’s ShowHouse 2005 was also featured in Port City Life.
