Grew up: The first seven years of my life were in Fremont, NH and then Petersham, MA through college

Started playing: I played piano starting at age 10 and then bassoon at age 12

Education: UMass/Amherst for Music Education, UNH for Music History

Began with PSO: 1992

Non-PSO Activities: Principal Bassoon for Vermont Symphony, member of Sospiri (oboe/bassoon/piano trio), I teach bassoon at UNH and Dartmouth College

Favorite music: Orchestral music -- Beethoven

Hobbies: Interests in nutrition, health, psychology, breadmaking and birdsongs
