Merrill Auditorium is located at 20 Myrtle Street, Portland, ME 04101.
Concessions are sold in the lobby before the show and during intermission. Bottled water may be taken into the auditorium. Restrooms and telephones are located on the main lobby level.
As a courtesy to musicians and other audience members, please remember to turn off all pagers, cell phones, watch signals, or any other audio alerts that may go off during the concert, both before and after intermission. Cameras (including cell phones cameras) and recording devices are not permitted at performances. This policy is strictly enforced.
Ushers are required to close doors promptly at performance time. Latecomers will be seated at the first appropriate pause, at the discretion of the Portland Symphony Orchestra. Please plan to be seated 15 minutes prior to performance time.
Handicap parking is available near the auditorium entrance. Patrons requiring aid to enter or exit the hall are invited to ask staff from the Public Assembly Facilities Division for assistance. They are easily recognized by their maroon jackets.
Wheelchair and transfer seating are available. Be sure to mention any needs at the time you order your tickets. Accessible seating is assigned on a first-come first-served basis and may not be available on the day of the concert if previous arrangements have not been made. An audio system for patrons with hearing impairment is available from the Public Assembly Facilities Division. Large print programs are available from any usher.
