The Portland Symphony Orchestra will hold the 2007 Designers’ ShowHouse at Oakley Estate, located at 113 Foreside Road in Falmouth Foreside. All proceeds benefit the Portland Symphony Orchestra, including its education and outreach programs.

Completed in 1927, the Oakley Estate has over 6,000 square feet of living space with 14 rooms and 6 baths, and a terrace leading out to a pool.  Situated on 4.2 acres, the landscape is a mix of perennials with a gentle slope leading to the water’s edge of Mussel Cove.

Thirteen of New England’s top designers will decorate the home and gardens. Features of the estate include a Grand Foyer, Ballroom, Atrium, and a mahogany-lined Study, as well as a spectacular kitchen and many elements that honor the historic elements of the house and introduce the latest in modern amenities, along with cutting edge design.
