Ever wonder what the orchestra would sound like in pieces?  Most of us have heard the metallic sound of a trumpet cutting through the full orchestra strings, and who doesn’t love the heavy low tuba sound?  Here is your opportunity to hear all the instruments in the orchestra-together and alone-in one of the most popular works in children’s music. Featuring Benjamin Britten’s A Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, the music will give you an in-depth look into the individual sounds of the woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion, and how they sound when we put the orchestra back together.  Also featured on this concert will be the first Martha Blood Concerto Competition winner, Micah Maurio.

Call (207) 773-6128 ext. 308 for reservations.

PRICES: $5 per person, $4 per person for groups of 25+ tickets (adult or child)
